## Narrative

Employee claimed he had symptoms of CO overexposure. He was taken to NNRH and was given oxygen. The investigation determined the CO levels in the area were well within MSHA guidelines. It was also determined he is a smoker and hadn't eaten well prior to shift and consumed large amounts of soda. The attending physician diagnosed him with elevated carboxyhemoglobin.
