## Narrative

An employee removing a nut off the tension rod on a jaw crusher was startled when the tension rod broke causing him to jerk his head backwards into the platform railing. The employee was not struck by any parts other than him hitting his head on the railing. He received 11 staples to close the laceration to his head.
