## Narrative

The employee was removing stone from the base of a fall area when a stone slid off of the pile of loose stone and struck him in the left hand. This caused a contusion on the miner's hand. The following were not a factor: Rules, regs., mining equipment or systems, skills, proficiency, protective clothing or devises on equipment. Attitude may have been a factor.
