Employee was cutting a piece of curtain towards his body when the knife slipped out of the curtain and he stabbed himself in the left forearm, resulting in a puncture/laceration that required 4 sutures. Returned to work on next regularly scheduled shift. No problems with mining methods, PPE, training or compliance issues.
