The mine's Safety Department received notification on October 30, 2015 that this employee has been awarded partial permanent disability for noise induced hearing loss. The accident was caused by the employee's lack of wearing hearing protection.  The employee was proper trained in the need and use of hearing protection.  The employee has a good safety attitude.
