## Narrative

After handling a miner cable, the employee felt pain in his back.  The incident occurred due to the ee's improper lifting and handling of the cable.  The ee had on the appropriate PPE, was proficient, properly trained and has a proper attitude. The incident did not involve the mining system or mine equipment nor any aspect of compliance with rules or regulations..
