## Narrative

Employee was replacing a locomotive battery cell in a spare battery located on the ground, while carrying the cell employee overexerted EE's back causing a strain. Cause of the incident was overexertion. PPE was not a factor, mining equipment and mining systems was not a factor, compliance rules/regs was not a factor, miner proficiency was a factor.
