## Narrative

The employee's hard hat made contact with the uncut portion of a protruding zip tie. The end of the zip tie was deflected by the hat, and then whipped back when released. The end of the Zip tie went around the top of the employee's safety glasses and made contact with the eye, causing a minor corneal abrasion.
