## Narrative

While setting limits on the Kiln 1 skip traveler, the injured employee noticed that the slack cable safety switch wire had been pulled out of the switch body, while they were repairing the high speed shaft and skip cable. Employee asked for assistance from Electrical Supervisor. Employee improperly used a knife to cut tie-wrap that was used to hoist material up.
