Narrative

Employee was installing a pin in the roller frame of a D11 when a chip came off the pin. The chip struck the employee in the back of the right thigh resulting in a laceration that required stitches. The employee thought they were using a soft face hammer, however the hammer was found to be a hardened hammer. The manufacturer was not clear in the marking of the different hammers.
