Narrative

Fire due to high temperatures (90+ degrees) high winds and combustion in the coal face. There was no equipment or personnel in the area of the fire, closes piece of equipment was an OB shovel 4 benches up and half a bench to the west approximately 2,734' away. The fire was washed down with water trucks and dug out with a track hoe and the material was buried in backfill.
