## Narrative

Miners were attempting to install an 8' long electrical ground rod, by use of an electric hammer drill. One person was operating the drill, and the other (injured) was holding the rod from below with a vise grip. The bit attachment broke on the drill, and the downward force punctured the wrist of the injured.
