Contractor was cutting hay in D3 area when the hay cutter contacted a rock causing sparks igniting the grass. The fire burned approximately 20 acres before being extinguished by water truck and Texas forestry department. MSHA hotline was called at 1:25pm. The fire burned for approximately 3 hours and 35 minutes.
