## Narrative

While tightening the doors on a ballast car, the handle slipped striking the employee in the web of the left hand between the thumb and index finger.  The accident occurred as the employee was closing the doors and the cable failed.  The employee did not violate and rules, regulations or policies. The employee was trained and has a good attitude.
