## Narrative

EE was cutting a feeder hole with a continuous miner nearby the anchor for a shuttle car. The car cable had been hung up to the roof by tie wires in the crosscut. When the car moved, the tie wires broke away from the cable causing it to strike the miner operator on the right side of head. An injury to ear occurred which required stitches to close the wound.
