## Narrative

A fully trained miner injured left knee when descending a belt crossover.  The individual turned too soon and struck knee on the handrail.  No mining equipment was involved.  The injury was not a result of any compliance issues nor did it involve protective devices.  Though the accident occurred on 09/26/16 the miner did not start missing work until 10/17/16.
