Notification was received on 10/24/2016 that this former employee (retired) was granted a PPD of 2% for Noise Induced Hearing Loss. The date of retirement was 08/22/2016. The date of filing was 03/26/2016. This incident was caused by the employee's failure to take the necessary steps to protect EE's hearing during EE's mining career.
