Narrative

A miner was injured starting to drill a hole in the roof where adverse conditions existed. A piece of rock measuring 10"" X 16"" by 4"" thick fell from the roof and contacted the metacarpal glove on right hand. The rock was sharp and it cut through the glove. Employee received a laceration on two fingers on right hand.
