## Narrative

Employee was cutting a plastic strap holding a 2"" choker together with a pocket knife. The employee was cutting away from body but had other hand in close proximity to the cutting action.  The knife slipped and cut the back side of left thumb close to the joint.  EE received 3 stitches to close the wound.
