Notification was received on 12-20-16 that this employee has been awarded a PPD of 3.8% for Noise Induced Hearing Loss. The EE was trained on use and areas where hearing protection is required. Also the EE was enrolled in a hearing conservation program. The incident occurred because the employee failed to use the proper hearing protection throughout  mining career. Claim 8/23/2016.
