Notification received on 1/3/2017 that this employee was awarded PPD of 16.58% for Noise Induced Hearing Loss. The ee was trained on the use and the areas where hearing protection is required. The employee was enrolled in a hearing conservation program. The incident occurred because the ee failed to use the proper hearing protection throughout mining career.
