## Narrative

While loading a drill steel on the back of a pickup truck, the drill steel shifted.  The employee tried to shove the steel away from self, but the end resting on the truck dropped on  foot.  EE was wearing steel-toed boots, but the drill rod struck just behind the toe guard.  EE was later diagnosed with a fractured toe.  EE returned to work the same day on restricted duty.
