Narrative

Injured Employee (IE) was cleaning up spillage around Rock Breaker 1 at the end of the shift. Upon closing the barrier gate to the grizzly the IE caught their right ring finger between the gate and a deflector plate. X-ray revealed a fracture to the tip of the finger and sutures required to close laceration.
