## Narrative

The roof bolting machine was moving to another entry, there was approximately 15 feet of cable slack behind the machine. The cable reel retracted the slack and the machine began to tram forward, the miner was struck by the cable hanging from the mine roof when the cable was pulled down from the hangers. After medical evaluation, the miner has been placed on restricted duty.
