Narrative

Injured was tail shear operator and while cutting out on the tail EE stooped under ring main hoses (around 252 shield, 3 East) and when EE raised back up EE hit EE's hard hat off the shield canopy causing pain in the neck area. Diagnosed with strain to soft tissue in cervical area. No problems with training, ppe, mining machines or compliance issues.
