## Narrative

The IE was assisting on installing hoist ropes on a P&H 4100 shovel. The IE felt a pop in arm while making a simple lift to uncross the cables. The employee was diagnosed with a tendon strain and referred to an orthopedic doctor. The MRI determined bicep tendon rupture. The employee continued to work until 3-23-17 when surgery to repair the tendon was performed.
