Narrative

Employee was in the process of getting rocks out of throat of miner in the 4WTG section when a rock fell from in between the straps striking right hand causing a laceration and fracture.Cause of injury was awareness. Compliance with rules/regs, PPE, mining equip/systems not a factor. Miner proficiency may be a factor.
