Narrative

Employee was cleaning a rock off the top of a Miner in the 4 West TG section when a rock fell from the top left side of roof mesh striking EE's left hand resulting in a contusion. Roof mesh was being installed at the time of incident. Cause of injury was awareness. Compliance with rules/regs, PPE, mining equip/systems not a factor. Miner proficiency may be a factor.
