## Narrative

Mechanic was trying to cut a 3"" rod bolt off that was stuck. Was using a portable saw and had made two cuts. The saw blade caught and kicked the saw back cutting thru the glove cut left ring finger at the first joint. 3 stitches were applied. No restrictions. All PPE was properly being used-Face Shield, Gloves and hearing protection. Saw had all safety devices in place.
