I.E. was unlatching a 5th wheel trailer from the tractor ee was driving. The pin that locks the tongue in place was stuck so ee tried to loosen it by hitting it with a hammer. After it had freed up ee pulled the pin out, the spring pulled it back in which pinched thumb between the plate & tractor. I.E. had to have procedure done to fix thumbnail. No work was missed.
