## Narrative

Injured was working on preparing pan line for removal near 68 shield (3E longwall recovery), while other employees were hanging the tail drive cable on the shields nearer the headgate. The cable was hung in D-rings and the hooks straightened out, letting the cable fall and striking the injured in the head and both forearms. Contusions to right forearm was the most severe injury.
