## Narrative

Contract employee was helping another contractor to change a roll of felt material, cardboard tube got caught on roller and while using a knife, contract employee accidentally cut finger. Cause of this injury was not paying attention to the task being performed. Compliance with company policies a factor and miner proficiency, mining equip/systems, PPE, not a factor.
