## Narrative

While operating the headgate shear drum and cutting the bottom from tailgate to headgate, a piece of coal measuring 20""X8""X9"" came off of the face and hit the employee in the right leg resulting in a contusion of the right thigh. Employee was examined at the clinic and released to work with no restrictions. The operator voluntarily placed EE in light duty work for 4 days.
