## Narrative

Employee was rigging up an air hoist to disconnect the old pan flights on pan feeder F1 north from the new. Once the hoist was connected ee put tension to the hoist causing the hoist to move pinching thumb between the hoist and pan flight causing a laceration to the Rt thumb. Need more training on proper hand placement and proper placement of equipment to allow safe use.
