The employee was reaching for the bolt wrench while CM Bolting when ee struck hand against a rib strap. The injury required stitches to ee's left hand. The following were not a factor: Rules, regs, mining equipment and systems, skills, proficiency, training, protective devices or clothing. Attitude may have been a factor.
