## Narrative

Mechanic was assisting the welder in picking up a plate of metal (4'x10'x1/2""). Two plates were stacked on top of each other on the ground. Employee tried to lift top plate so the forks of the bobcat could slide under top plate. When ee attempted to lift this plate, ee heard a popping sound from the lower right side of back. Employee collapsed onto the ground in pain.
