Narrative

Mine Operator was cutting in 9R and recognized the roof was falling out. EE radioed the section supervisor to come take a look at the roof. EE saw the IE walking up behind and continued to operate the machine. When ee turned around, ee saw the IE on the ground. A rock measuring 18""x40""x3"" fell from the roof from approximately 11 6 striking the employee on the head and neck.
