Narrative

While operating the left side drill head of the RB-2 roof bolter, the starter steel became stuck in the mine roof. The operator lowered the drill box down 1/2 of the way and jerked the stuck steel out of the hole. The operator's small finger on left hand was pinched between the drill steel and the drill head of the machine. 3 stitches were required to close the wound.
