## Narrative

EE was in the process of changing out batteries for a scoop when ee accidentally lost grip (right hand) with the battery lid while raised. The lid fell or dropped down hitting left hand that was located in a pinch point. The injury occurred only to the ring finger on left hand. X-rays indicated that there was a fracture to the first joint of the finger.
