A fully trained miner injured right middle finger when moving a power cable through a block stopping. The cable plug fell from miner's grip and when miner tried to catch it miner's finger was caught between the plug and the block wall causing a laceration. The injury was not the result of any compliance issues nor were any protective guards involved.
