Mine scheduled to take Metz substation off line to repair a switch. A miner tried to take the Metz elevator to the bottom before the outage, but the power was knocked with the elevator still going down, engaging safety switches that would not release automatically. By 11:46 the rope grippers were manually reset and miner was removed from the elevator.
