Rear end of the continuous miner had just advanced inby the #10 crosscut of the #3 entry of 6East. The injured went to pick up the miner cable at the inby corner of the crosscut (so that it could be cleaned with the loading machine) and stepped on a loose rock, rolling their right ankle and resulting in a sprain/strain.
