## Narrative

The employee was constructing a stopping at 59cc #1 Section between #7 and #8 entries.  The area was 9' 3"" high and 18' 8"" wide. EE was standing on a ladder to place another block on the stopping. As EE placed the block, a section of rock measuring 24"" x 13"" x 1"" fell out and struck EE on top of the right hand. The injury took 7 stitches to close.
