## Narrative

Employee was operating the tailgate drum of the shearer in the F28 LW section, mining towards the tail when a rock came over the handrail out of the panline and struck the employee on the inside of the right leg just above the ankle. Incident resulted in fractures to the tibia and fibula in right leg that required surgery.
