Narrative

Employee was tramming tailpiece on 5W longwall when fitting on whip line broke and sprayed employee with emulsion. Employee was diagnosed with chemical conjunctivitis. Cause of injury was awareness. Compliance with rules/regs,PPE,mining equip/systems not a factor. Miner proficiency may be a factor
