## Narrative

Contract miner was injured while cutting rib mesh away from a bolt. The employee was outby the stageloader on the off-walkway side. Miner was struck in the arm and hand by a piece of rock that had fallen from behind the mesh. The miner received two broken bones in the hand requiring medical treatment.
