## Narrative

Employee was attempting to raise rock deflector while bolting off of CM in the 6W section. Rock fell striking employee on left cheek causing laceration resulting in 3 sutures. Cause of injury was awareness. Compliance with rules/regs, PPE, mining equip/systems not a factor. Miner proficiency may be a factor.
