## Narrative

While the employee was doing pre-shift on the 2 yd. UG. Loader and as EE lifted an engine compartment lid it slipped out of EE's right hand and when it fell closed the lid pinched EE's left index finger. Seen site medic, referred to ER, x-rays were negative and no sutures were required, however restrictions were issued due to the loss of finger nail.
