Injured employee was helping lift joints of 6"" pipe (waterline) when they felt pain and tightness in their back. They twisted as they were lifting the waterline up onto a high area on the 4-E longwall belt conveyor. Employee didn't violate any regulations and has experience in the task. Employee was wearing required PPE.
