Narrative

Employee was laying rail in the 6 West Section and was bent over tightening up fish plate bolts when EE felt a sharp pain on the lower left side of EE's back. Cause of injury was improper body positioning. Compliance with rules/regs, PPE, mining equip/systems not a factor. Miner proficiency may be a factor.
